The Brain Research Institute at the University and ETH Zürich is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated master student to work in the field of molecular and behavioral cognition. This person will be involved in a project on maternal separation and unpredictable stress in mice that deals with epigenetic inheritance of acquired behavioral traits across generations. The project requires basic knowledge in neurobiology and genetics as well as some methodological know-how in molecular biology. Experience in handling mice is an advantage.
The position is for 9-12 months, starting in summer 2011 or later, and is in the lab of Molecular Cognition of Prof. I. Mansuy, Brain Research Institute, University/ETH Zürich, Irchel Campus, Zürich.
